Description

This avalanche transceiver will satisfy all kinds of users, freeriders, alpinists or hikers. It is very easy to use and has exclusive technologies developed by the brand. Solid and compact, the device features Bluetooth which will allow you, via the dedicated Pieps app, to set up your avalanche beacon from your smartphone, update the firmware or simply test its features. The app also offers several training scenarios which can be very useful to train in real-life conditions. 

The beacon offers a range of 60 meters, uses a 3 antenna technology which makes the signal more efficient and above all, allows in case of interference to change antenna to reduce this interference. You will also find a Group Check function and a multi-victim search mode.

To acquire in-depth knowledge of avalanche prevention, know how to perfectly use your avalanche safety equipment (beacon, shovel and probe) and be fully operational when the time comes, Glisshop recommends that you take a course with the ANENA (National Association for the Study of Snow and Avalanches). You can also contact the French Federation of Alpine Clubs, with which you can also be trained in mountain rescue and follow regular avalanche victim search trainings.
