Description

The Arva Recon X Avy Safety Set from Black Diamond features the Recon X Beacon avalanche transceiver, Transfer Shovel and QuickDraw Pro Probe 280.  

Easy to use, the Black Diamond Recon X Beacon transceiver is an essential safety device for your backcountry sessions. It will make it easier for rescue teams to find you in case of an avalanche. With three antennas and a circular range of 60 metres, the localisation is more precise. The marking function for multiple burial scenarios is also featured to mark victims one by one and search the next. It is also compatible with the iProbe (not included) for more research options. This avalanche beacon has numerous modes and functions, notably the ability to connect to the PIEPS app via Bluetooth on your smartphone to update the software or adjust the settings. It comes with a carrying pouch for efficient storage and quick access to the beacon in case of an emergency situation.

With a telescopic shaft and relatively wide blade, the Transfer Shovel allows to dig out a large amount of snow quickly, to reach a victim as fast as possible.
