Description

The Merrell Alverstone 2 Gore-Tex is a hiking shoe designed to deliver comfort and reliability for outdoor exploration enthusiasts. With an upper made of suede and mesh, it combines durability with breathability, perfect for long treks. Its major asset lies in its Gore-Tex membrane which ensures total waterproofness while allowing your feet to breathe. This shoe features a traditional lace-up closure for a custom fit, as well as a gusseted tongue to prevent debris infiltration. The mesh lining offers excellent ventilation, keeping your feet dry and cool. A protective rubber toe cap increases the shoe's durability and guards against obstacles on the trail. To absorb shocks and stabilise your steps, Merrell Air Cushion technology is integrated into the heel. This feature reduces fatigue during hikes on uneven terrain. The removable Merrell Kinetic Fit BASE insole conforms to the shape of your foot, providing comfortable support. The EVA foam midsole contributes to the overall comfort and stability of the shoe, while the moulded nylon shank adds the required rigidity for secure walking.
