What are the characteristics of the Salomon Equipe 7 Skate cross-country ski?

Flexible and agile, its aim is to gently introduce you to the practice of skating without pushing you over your limit. Stable when skating, its Densolite 2000 core ensures the minimum momentum comes at the end of each thrust so you can feel the acceleration effect that this should produce. When it comes to gliding, the finish of the GS universal base is enough when you start to learn the feeling of skating without being overwhelmed. However, for long trips, it is best to choose some skis with a more advanced base finish.

New arrivals to the practice of skating, the équipe 7 is a ski that will be appropriate for you as you take your first steps into the world of Nordic skiing. Perfectly adapted to learning the technique with or without poles, its smoothness will make you feel comfortable, allowing you to gently learn the correct movement. It is however important to emphasise that for those skiers with some experience and who know at least how to position themselves on the skis, this ski will perhaps be a bit too flexible for you and will not completely return the energy of your thrusts.
