this boot comes exclusively in half sizes (28.5,29.5, etc). If you’re looking to go down to the next size, we recommend using the size-reducing ski boot insert developed by sidas. See the Sidas Sole.

The Ascendant SC is a freeride ski boot developed by Fulltilt, offering maximum responsiveness and support while remaining very comfortable. Its ski/walking system is efficient.  

The Ascendant SC is the ski boot developed by Fulltilt for the freeskier Sammy Carlson, a freestyle skier but also a big backcountry skier. For this purpose, Fulltilt has provided him with a boot with a rigid and durable TPU shell, which retains a progressive flex thanks to the Cabrio Design construction. There is also a ski/walk system that offers up to 60° of travel for ascents.  

What is the program of the Fulltilt Ascendant SC ski boot?  

The Fulltilt Ascendant is a powerful boot that gives you all the support needed for descents. The TPU shell is impact resistant and offers a flex of approximately 120. The Cabrio Design provides more comfort and cushioning in the shin support, which is great for landing or riding off-piste in hard-packed snow. It also provides a more fluid stride, which along with the 60° of travel of the ski/walk system will offer a lot of efficiency during ascents. Speaking of D+ ascents, the Grip Walk sole on the Ascendant will be very useful during the walking phase, offering a good grip. Finally, during descents, this Fulltilt boot offers a lot of precision in turns and reactivity, thanks to its efficient tightening system with 3 hooks, one of which is inverted, plus a powerful powerstrap. So, this is a model that will satisfy you both during descents and ascents, perfect for extreme off-piste rides.
