The supercharged version of the Speedmax 3D Skate for powerful skiers who need maximum efficiency. This ski has been designed to meet the demands of those who need more responsiveness under foot. A real rocket ship on compact snow, which guarantees you will never lack energy.

What are the characteristics of the Fischer Speedmax 3D Skate Plus X-Stiff Nordic ski?

The construction is identical to other versions of the Speedmax 3D skate, a honeycomb core with a HM carbon plate over it. This structure provides lateral stiffness to the ski, for more efficiency on the push. This ski differs from the other models by the stiffness of its camber, which is higher and longer. The drawback is that the ski requires more energy and as a consequence should only be used by skiers able to manage its dynamism. However, for sprint cross-country races or short distances in Biathlon it guarantees unmatchable nervosity. The Plus base is designed for temperate conditions, it excels between 0 and -5°C. The Cold Base Bonding process ensures a better lifespan to the wax, while limiting the impact of sudden snow condition changes. The sidewalls are made of a thin layer of base material, you can wax them, but only with cold liquid wax, the base is too thin to withstand being ironed. It prevents snow from sticking to the sidewalls, making the ski heavier, and hampering its balance. A great ski, very pleasant on hard snow and with Fischer’s glide quality.

All Fischer cross-country skis from this range are pre-waxed to protect the bases during storage and transport. It is required to scrape and brush the skis before using them.
