Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Evil Twin is a snowboard that needs no introduction. In Bataleon’s catalogue for many years, this board benefits from the brand's experience and years of testing feedback. A true twin, it features an Ultra Light wood core, reinforced with triaxial fibreglass, as well as carbon reinforcements for maximum response and pop.

What is the Bataleon Evil Twin snowboard made for?

The Evil Twin is a very enjoyable board to ride on groomers, where its traditional camber offers plenty of grip and power. But let's be clear, the Evil Twin will quickly get bored if you only make it carve turns. Designed for the terrain park and freestyle, this is a machine that only wants one thing: to send as many tricks as possible on a run. From rails to big jumps, it's a board that loves to flex and provide fun. It has pop, it's solid, and it's just waiting for your imagination to go have fun (and some reasonably strong thighs ;) ).

Who is the Bataleon Evil Twin snowboard aimed at?

We recommend this model to intermediate to advanced snowboarders with a passion for freestyle. If you want to progress in this area, you will be well served! It remains a very versatile board that will have no trouble riding the entire mountain.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
