The Capita Indoor Survival snowboard stands out with its directional twin shape, ideal to ride switch, while handling well on all terrains.

What is the Capita Indoor Survival snowboard made for?

The slightly set-back inserts enhance its manoeuvrability and float in powder. With its lightweight wood core, this board features a perfectly balanced flex, combining power and riding comfort. Its traditional camber ensures dynamic rebound between turns and secure grip. Reinforced with titanal, the Indoor Survival guarantees increased stability, offering precision and efficiency when carving on groomers. Although it shares some characteristics with the Capita D.O.A., it distinguishes itself with a more piste-oriented focus and carving efficiency thanks to its excellent grip, stability, and precision. Its eco-friendly construction adds an extra dimension to this versatile board, which excels on both groomers and in the backcountry.

Who is the Capita Indoor Survival snowboard aimed at?

The Capita Indoor Survival is aimed at intermediate to advanced snowboarders seeking a versatile board that performs well on groomers and in the backcountry. If you are looking for a board that offers precision, stability, and manoeuvrability, while also being suitable for freestyle, this model is for you.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
