Description

The Capita Super D.O.A. is a high-end, highly innovative snowboard. It features the 3D Thermopolymer Hover Core, which blends poplar, paulownia and recycled plastic to provide weight savings, better cushioning and greater responsiveness. It also features 50mm Super Carbon reinforcements that boost pop and rebound without stiffening the board, as well as Kevlar reinforcements along the edges that provide more impact resistance.  

What is the program of the Capita Super DOA snowboard?  

Performance and hard snow, that's how to sum up the Super DOA. This twin-tip is ready to rip it up in the park and the resort, thanks to a NASA-like construction and a classic, well-marked camber that allows you to enjoy it at 200%. The grip is excellent on piste, the pop is overpowering, the carving bounce is strong between turns, and the high-speed stability is very satisfying. The camber also allows you to stay on the rails, the reinforced edges last longer during freestyle and the twin-tip shape allows you to switch at any time. A solid board to send in freestyle/park or to ride hard on the slopes.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
