Description

No idea if it's mere coincidence of if it comes from Gnu boards, but from Jamie Anderson in slopestyle to Kaitlyn Farrington in half-pipe Gnu is collecting gold medals everywhere. Well, of course it's not a coincidence. Gnu works hard on their women's boards and makes them with the utmost care. The B-Pro Kaitlyn Farrington for instance features a paulownia/aspen core maximising the board's horsepower while reducing its lightweight. The hybrid cambered profile enhances precision and energy transfers without compromising floatation and the Magne Traction tech helps the board cut through ice as a knife cuts through butter. If you were looking for a definition of high performance, you look at the board's DNA.

What our testers say : The B-Pro is one of the most technical boards available on the market. A real promodel with real pro-performance suited for advanced and expert freestyle-oriented women riders. It's a board designed for riding hard and fast, preferably on big-airs or half pipes, even if a natural lip on the side of the piste is a good reason for pulling a 720 tail grab.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
