Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The K2 Extravision is an all-mountain freeride snowboard for women who aspire to push their limits even further. It promises solid edge hold on groomers, as well as good float in powder. It offers a perfect mix of performance and manoeuvrability. Not too stiff, it allows for comfortable riding while being responsive.

What is the K2 Extravision snowboard made for?

The Extravision board is designed to explore all terrains. Its Camber + Rocker profile provides optimal edge hold on hard snow, while adding float in powder thanks to the rockers on the tips. The directional shape, with a wider nose and setback inserts, enhances manoeuvrability and float, making this board ideal for freeride sessions.

Who is the K2 Extravision snowboard aimed at?

We recommend the K2 Extravision board for intermediate to advanced riders who are comfortable on all types of terrain and are looking for equipment that allows them to progress while having fun.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
