Description

This is undoubtedly Nitro's new best-seller and you won't argue will you? Jointly designed with the artist Estevan Oriol, the graphics of the board won't leave you unmoved. This is a lineup that we can call sexy. All boards feature gorgeous black and white pictures with a nice work made on the contrast ;) Ok, let's speak about the board itself now. It comes with a Power Core II crafted by Nitro's best engineers. It incorporates poplar and beech for durable performance all around the mountain. The hybrid camber provides stability, pop and playfulness and makes sure that wherever you are on the mountain, you're having fun with a reliable board.

What our testers say : This directional board pushes versatility to its best. Its uncommon profile (a blend of traditional camber and zero camber) turns the board into an enjoyable toy through the park where ollies pop naturally off kickers and rails seem pretty easy to destroy. The responsive structure allows stable runs at speed and the progressive shape helps for keeping you afloat on soft snow. The Addict is a do-it-all board for intermediate riders having a bias towards freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
