Description

The Subzero isn't new to the line and most of you probably know it already. The board returns for 2015 with the same core that made it so special. A combination of poplar and beech maximising the pop and the reactivity of the board while optimising its durability. However, the board comes with a new profile called Flatout Rocker. Flat under the feet and rockered through the tips, the board becomes incredibly playful and ready for shredding parks and streets again and again, day after day.

What our testers say : Twin-tipped board offering a soft flex for the freestyle crowd. The Subzero is a trick-machine with which you'll finally be able to nose press that box you've been looking at and lay butters with style and ease. This street destroyer comes with reinforced edges enhancing the board's resistance against rails and concrete ledges. It's a great pick for any advanced freestyler looking for the ultimate park board that'll help them reach the next level.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
