Description

The Ride Warpig snowboard has a unique shape with squared tips and a greater width than most boards. It is designed to be ridden short, requiring picking a size 6 to 10 cm shorter than your usual board. The Warpig benefits from carbon reinforcements and Slimewalls urethane sidewalls for better dampening, offering a good balance between responsiveness and riding comfort.

What is the programme of the Ride Warpig snowboard?

With a directional shape, pronounced front rocker and slightly narrower tail, the Warpig offers quick turn entries and easy lift on powder. The Warpig excels both on groomers and in the backcountry. Its width guarantees excellent floatability on fresh snow, while the shorter length provides great manoeuvrability, ideal to navigate between trees. The balanced flex allows the Warpig to be responsive, stable and dynamic, while offering enough flexibility to approach rails and other terrain park features with confidence. To sum it up, it’s a versatile board that performs in the descents while remaining comfortable, offering great manoeuvrability and playfulness for freestyle, as well as excellent floatability on powder.

Who is the Ride Warpig snowboard for?

The Warpig is ideal for intermediate to advanced level snowboarders seeking a versatile board to do some freestyle while being able to have fun on groomers and in the backcountry. You'll like it if you’re looking for a unique board that remains accessible.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
