Description

The Artifact Rocker remains a big name in the world of freestylers. This Rome snowboard is an amazing park gun that has made its reputation by destroying kickers, rails and boxes around the world.

What can the Rome ARTIFACT ROCKER snowboard do?

If you want to get your jibbing up to date, work on your nose presses and pop stylish 7s over the tyre feature, then pay attention to the following lines. The Artifact Rocker is a fun trick machine designed to help every rider make the most of every feature. The board comes with a soft and playful flex pattern offering riders tons of pressability and a nice and smooth jib feel. The board is not overly poppy (soft flex) and yet it’ll manage to get you up there and over any obstacle you need to ollie. It’s fun and easy, no pressure, no stress. You get a quality base offering a fast glide and more importantly a high durability, capable of withstanding concrete ledges and iron boxes. The Artifact Rocker comes as close to the definition of freestyle as possible. Of course, you can always take it on groomers and even on pow but the board’s favourite playground remains where the rails and kickers are.

Who is the Rome ARTIFACT ROCKER snowboard designed for?

This board was mainly designed for the intermediate and advanced rider who wants a playful jib toy or a fun park board that can deal with other terrains as well. The board’s fun and easy to manage and will definitely add style to your days.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
