Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rome Artifact snowboard features a perfectly symmetrical twin-tip shape. With your feet centred in the middle of the board and a tail that matches the nose, you can effortlessly ride switch and perform freestyle tricks with complete freedom.

What is the Rome Artifact snowboard made for?

Its playful flex makes it easier to execute presses and feel comfortable pulling off your tricks. A bamboo reinforcement in the centre of the board adds bounce and torsional rigidity while maintaining the flexibility of the tips. The traditional camber profile fully capitalises on the elasticity of bamboo, enhancing grip and power. The Double Kick construction, with its two raised sections, provides greater stability for presses. The Artifact is a decidedly freestyle-oriented model, perfect for having fun in the terrain park and nailing your tricks with ease.

Who is the Rome Artifact snowboard aimed at?

This board is recommended for intermediate to advanced snowboarders with solid skills looking for equipment capable of propelling them to new performance peaks, while offering an unparalleled riding pleasure.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
