Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rome Warden is a versatile and progressive snowboard, perfect for novices and snowboarding enthusiasts. Its directional twin shape, modified from its predecessor, with a slightly set-back stance offers more control on the back foot, improves float in powder while maintaining great ease in switch. A soft flex and rocker zones provide significant forgiveness, making turns easier and enhancing glide on soft snow or in powder in the side country.

What is the Rome Warden snowboard made for?

The Warden features a directional twin shape, symmetrical from nose to tail with a slightly set-back stance. This provides excellent turning control on all types of terrain, while ensuring good float in powder and ease in switch. The soft flex makes riding easier, and the rocker zones at the tips increase forgiveness to facilitate turns. Additionally, the camber section ensures good edge hold on groomers while remaining forgiving to make turns easier. In short, this board will help you progress in all conditions!

Who is the Rome Warden snowboard aimed at?

We recommend this model for beginner to intermediate snowboarders. It is particularly suited for those who primarily ride on groomers but also wish to venture into the side country.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
