Description

The Rossignol One is a versatile and progressive snowboard, designed for riding in the entire resort. It stands out with its directional twin shape, medium flex, and camber + rocker profile.

What is the Rossignol One snowboard made for?

The Rossignol One snowboard features a directional twin shape, meaning it is symmetrical from nose to tail but with a slightly set back stance to facilitate turns and float in powder. Its directional flex promotes control with reinforcement on the back foot, providing more comfort and ease when initiating turns. With the One, you can effortlessly link turns on all types of terrain and enjoy excellent rebound when carving thanks to the traditional camber. This camber fully utilises the power of the wood core while ensuring good edge hold. The serrated edges add precision on hard snow, while the L.I.T.E. urethane technology absorbs vibrations for a smoother ride. Whether you're on groomers or in the backcountry, the One offers comfort, playfulness, and performance.

Who is the Rossignol One snowboard aimed at?

This model is recommended for intermediate to advanced snowboarders seeking a versatile and progressive board to ride across the entire resort, with the ability to vary speeds and terrains. More experienced riders will also enjoy riding switch and indulging in freestyle with the One.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
