Description

The Salomon Dancehaul is the board that will make you vibe on all terrains. Versatile, designed for freeride, it is agile across the entire ski area.

What is the Salomon Dancehaul snowboard made for?

Its directional shape is perfect for making your way through backcountry powder, thanks to its front rocker and wide nose that facilitate lift and ensure remarkable float. On groomers, its geometry combined with a traditional camber allows for precise carving, with a front rocker that helps initiate turns. For freestylers, the Popster core and Ghost basalt reinforcements offer the possibility of powerful ollies and controlled landings. Ideal for sending tricks, this board is both playful and fun, while providing pop and stability at high-speeds.

Who is the Salomon Dancehaul snowboard aimed at?

We recommend the Dancehaul for intermediate to advanced riders who want to explore the mountain and discover more technical runs between the trees.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
