Description

When the entire mountain becomes your playground...This is the Blacklight's promise. Armed with a poplar Powerlite Core ensuring explosive pop and unparalleled reactivity on the hardpack, the board is light and powerful. It blasts through crud with an effortless ease and yet it remains playful when it needs to be. The directional shape of the board enhances floatation and manoeuverability on powder while the traditional camber guarantees alpine performance on groomed snow. In other words, if you were looking for the ultimate quiver to shred the mountain with, look no further, it's just here, in front of your eyes.

What our testers say : Finally a board that offers both performance and versatility in the same package. The Blacklight is primarily intended for advanced riders who need a reactive board that has more character than their stepmother. The board has that nimble feel of a freestyle board combined to the power feel of a freeride board. It handles literally any terrain and allows quick progression everywhere.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
