The Palmer Pro isn't just a board, it is an shredding machine engineered for performance-driven riders. Featuring a carbon-reinforced woodcore, Palmer is clearly boosting the power and rebound of the board. If turn entries are smooth, precise and intuitive, the riding is aggressive and laying trenches on pistes is soon going to seem normal to you. Stable at high speed and yet floaty on powder, this freestyle-oriented weapon is happy wherever you take it.

 

What our testers say : On hard snow the board's a blast. It picks up speed very quickly and feels under control even at high speed, perfect for hitting black park lines. When the snow gets softer, there's no problem either. The glide still feels natural and the steering intuitive. The only thing is that the board's a bit demanding and unexperienced riders may experience some pain in their legs at the end of the day. Recommended to advanced boarders.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
